We make reusable packaging scalable and accessible by enabling existing single-use production lines to create cardboard boxes and paper bags designed for reuse. This ensures a global supply of low-cost packaging with production emissions on par with single-use—delivering environmental benefits from the very first reuse.
Our packaging is developed to match existing workflows in webshops and fulfilment centres. With flexible material compositions, durability can be adapted to suit actual return rates—starting with low-cost, low-emission packaging and scaling up as reuse increases. It’s a practical, future-proof solution built on real-world needs and years of experience.

Making a real difference means ensuring our reusable packaging has a significantly lower footprint than single-use options. Our life cycle assessments (LCA), audited by Deloitte, cover our three most popular packaging designs.
By digging into each design in detail, we get a full picture of their environmental impact. These LCAs track the entire journey—from raw material sourcing all the way through reuse and eventual disposal, letting us see exactly how our packaging compares to single-use alternatives—and how it drives positive change.
Why reusing beats recycling
Recycling is often seen as the go-to solution for managing waste, but it’s far from the most eco-friendly option.
The process is energy-intensive, requiring large amounts of water and chemicals. It also involves several steps—collection, sorting, shredding, pulping, filtering, finishing, and finally converting materials back into products like corrugated board. After several cycles, materials degrade in quality as fibers weaken, which limits their future use.
In contrast, reuse keeps products in circulation for much longer, delaying the need for recycling and reducing the overall environmental impact.

In 2023, we became a certified B Corp company, and it’s a certification we are very proud of. As a B Corp, we are part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact. As part of the certification process, we have been assessed on a wide range of parameters, and we are happy to have achieved a score of 124.5, which is well above the required minimum of 80 points.
As a B Corp company, we set high standards for ourselves and our suppliers, focusing on climate considerations, fair working conditions, and environmental certifications. We see our B Corp certification as an integral part of our efforts to make a positive difference in the world.
FSC® Certified
At RE-ZIP we are not only dedicated to saving packaging from the bin but also to promoting responsible resource usage. We believe that a crucial part of this is supporting responsible forest management, which is why all our packaging is FSC-certified.
FSC’s certification system enables businesses and consumers to choose wood, paper, and other forest products made with materials that support responsible forestry. We take pride in our contribution to preserving our natural resources, and we will continue to strive for more responsible production.
Efforts for the UN’s SDG goals
We want to do our part in achieving the UN’s SDG goals. Of the 17 goals set by the UN, we are particularly focused on contributing to two of them.
